Dan Nadel is the director of PictureBox Inc., a Grammy-Award winning visual culture studio and publishing house. He is the author of Art Out of Time: Unknown Visionary Cartoonists 1900-1969 (Abrams) and an assistant professor of illustration at Parsons the New School for Design.
